May 22, 2008 - Version 1.4.5 Released

  • Added 2 new methods to WindowsPanel.Common | RunProcess() and RunProcessWithResults(). Both Shared Functions use Diagnostics.Process() to run an executable file, such as aspnet_regiis.
  • Changed method of switching the version of .NET framework from changing the path of the ScriptMaps within IIS, to using aspnet_regiis -s, which is the preferred method from Microsoft.
  • Added Install/Uninstall of FrontPage Extensions within WindowsPanel.Servers.IIS.Website using WindowsPanel.Common.RunProcess(), with the executable "owsadm.exe".
  • Modified installer to properly set the .NET framework version to 2.0 during installation.

May 15, 2008 - Changes to Web Application

  • Fixed bug with GetWebsiteIP() method within /App_Code/common.vb (when updating website, the IP addresses tied to the host headers, were incorrectly changed to 255.255.255.255)
  • Updated installer so that running it will update an existing installation, not delete it and install a new, fresh version.
  • Added a configuration item for "Delete Database During Uninstallation"

May 07, 2008 - Version 1.4.1 Released

  • Tested all recent changes.
  • Packaged up the recent changes into Windows Installers.
  • Tested the installation packages.
  • Released the software to the website.

May 05, 2008 - Changes to Web Application

  • Completed adding support for Microsoft DNS Server.
  • Completed rewrite of new /site/signup.aspx which also works as /cp/add.aspx using RewritePath within Global.asax
  • Added content to /site/terms.aspx and /site/privacy.aspx.
  • Added /site/contact.aspx
  • Changes to master pages for cancelling AJAX postbacks.
  • Finished adding detailed logging throughout the entire web application. (file, database, & windows event log)
  • Cleanup to all forms placing labels above the form field within <h5 /> tags, rather than to the left using <label /> tags.
  • Massive cleanup to the configuration section.
  • Misc. bug fixes throughout the web application.
  • Architecture cleanup throughout the application, adding Namespaces etc.

April 23, 2008 - Changes to MB/GB for uniformity

  • Changed admin/config/packages.aspx to display MB
  • Changed admin/config/packages-setup.aspx to display MB
  • Changed admin/clients/websites.aspx to display MB

April 20, 2008 - Changes to Web Application Code-Base

  • Added WindowsPanel.Data.Excel to data.vb (for future plans of importing websites via Excel spreadsheets)
  • Added WindowsPanel.Data.Parameters - Object to hold stored procedures' parameters - inherits from System.Collections.SortedList

April 16, 2008 - Changes to Web Application Code-Base

  • Moved functions.vb to common.vb and moved the architecture to WindowsPanel.Common
  • Changed the service control for Administrator Dashboard to check WindowsPanel, not DotNetHostingPanel (missed during name change).
  • Moved Email, DNS, FTP, IIS, and SQL to WindowsPanel Namespace for consistant architecture.
  • Cleaned up Administrator Dashboard HTML and CSS for different screen resolutions.
  • Moved Tree class to WindowsPanel Namespace for consistency.
  • Moved Message, Validator, and Service controls to WindowsPanel Namespace for consistency.
  • Fixed errors with website setup within Administration Panel (errors when creating new client).
  • Moved payment, configuration, paging, registrar, data access layer, and encryption classes to WindowsPanel for consistency.

April 16, 2008 - Version 1.3.1 Released (HotFix)

  • A HotFix was released to handle an error when setting up a new website within the Administration Panel. Error only occurs when creating a new client during the website setup process.
  • This HotFix will be included with the next release, scheduled for April 25th 2008, or sooner.

April 14, 2008 - Changes to Web Application Code-Base

  • Modified dbo.processors_activate stored procedure.
  • Significant changes to processors section of administration configuration.
  • Significant changes to default configuration within the administration section.

April 9, 2008 - Version 1.2.5 Released (HotFix)

  • Fixed installer issue with administrator password.
  • Changed the Folder Regular Expression within the configuration.
  • Fixed scrolling issue within the CP.
  • Cleaned up code within the service installer (no functionality changes).

December 17, 2007 - Version 1.2.0 Released

November 22, 2007 - Version 1.1.0 Released

  • DotNetHostingPanel, now WindowsPanel, released to the public.
  • Included MailBee WebMail Pro with the application.
  • Added MSI installer with the application for easy installation.

November 15, 2007 - Version 1.0.6 Beta Released

  • Version 1.0.0 released to a select few customers for beta testing.
