WindowsPanel - Supported 3rd Party Applications
Here is a list of 3rd party applications that are currenly supported in WindowsPanel. We strive to
push our software to be the best. If you have a need for a different application than what we have
listed here, let us know! We have a very quick turnaround time. Sometimes within a day or two we can
have a brand new server module available by request. Contact us
and submit a feature request to get an immediate response.

and we will add it to our work list. Typically, it only takes about a week for us to get a new application added to WindowsPanel.

Windows Server
WindowsPanel was built specifically for the Windows Server platform. Currently, only Windows Server 2003 is supported but support for Windows Server 2008 is expected to be finished soon.
The control panel runs under ASP.NET. It was specifically built for the 2.0 framework, but will run under 3.0 and 3.5 as well.
Microsoft SQL Server is fully supported. WindowsPanel supports creating databases, users, and logins. It handles database backups as well as file shrinking.
Email Servers
WindowsPanel comes fully integrated with MailEnable's Email Server. WP will add and delete post offices, as well as email addresses.
Like MailEnable, Merak Mail Server is fully supported by WindowsPanel Hosting Controller.
SmarterMail offers a complete API using web services to manage the email server. WindowsPanel takes full advantage of this API and fully supports SmarterMail.
FTP Servers
FileZilla is an open source FTP server that uses an XML file for its configuration. WindowsPanel works perfectly with FileZilla.
Gene6 is an excellent FTP Server that is gaining popularity due mostly to its flexibility. Gene6 supports many scripting options and there is a large community that openly shares management scripts.
DNS Servers
WindowsPanel comes complete with support for Microsoft's DNS Server. Like the entire application, you get all of the source code to interface with MS DNS.
WindowsPanel is fully compatible with SimpleDNS Server.
Nettica.com provides 3rd party DNS services, which includes a full web service API. Nettica is fully supported by WindowsPanel.
Payment Gateways
Authorize.NET is the most popular merchant gateway and is completely integrated within WindowsPanel for payment collection.
PayPal's Website Payments Pro is the enhanced version of PayPal's merchant services which allows you to process credit card payments on your website, just like a real merchant account, yet through your PayPal account.
Web Statistics
The most popular web statistics software on the web, AWStats, is completely supported by WindowsPanel.
Just like SmarterMail, SmarterStats is also supported.
Another web statistics solution for server log files. DeepMetrix is written in .NET and supported by WindowsPanel.
